Who is eligible to play in the Club World Cup?
Twelve European clubs compete in the 32-team competition; spots are given out according to Champions League results over the course of four seasons, starting in 2020–2021 and continuing through this season.

The top-performing teams in the tournament during the same time frame will join the Champions League winners from the previous three seasons, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester City, for the 2025 competition. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Milan will qualify through the ranking process.
