
March 18 (UPI) -- Netflix is teasing the Happy Gilmore sequel starring Adam Sandler.
The preview clip, unveiled on Tuesday, features Sandler, playing the role of Happy Gilmore, gazing at statues of legendary golfers Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods.
"SpongeBob?" he asks when he sees himself In the roster of legends. "What is this? Why the buckteeth?"
The trailer also provides a look at Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, better known as musician Bad Bunny, who is part of the cast. Happy Gilmore 2.By the end of the original Happy Gilmore , Sandler’s main character had finally found peace following a grueling golfing season… He proved himself to the golf elitists, rescued his grandma’s house, and has now come back home,” official description says .
The returning cast members from the 1996 movie who will be back include Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, and Christopher McDonald.
The PGA Tour golfers featured in the movie consist of John Daly, Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, and Will Zalatoris.
The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce and former professional golfer Paige Spiranac will also be featured.
Happy Gilmore 2 reaches Netflix on July 25.
The cast also features Conor Sherry, Ethan Cutowsky, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Philip Fine Schneider, Blake Clark, along with Adam Sandler’s daughters, Sadie and Sunny.
